Event: Speed Dating!

The lights are low, and there are several long rows of two-person tables set up in the largest dining room. That's right: it's time for speed dating!

Pick a seat, any seat. You'll have five minutes to talk to the person across from you about anything and everything and possibly hit it off before the bell rings and you'll move one seat to the right to start the process all over again. Hopefully, by the end of the night, you'll have found at least one person you'd like to get to know better. Get a drink from the bar and feel free to flag down a server for some snacks, loosen those lips, and get to talking. Good luck!

[Post will be open to anyone: feel free to start your own subthread or to tag into other people's subthreads. I'll also start up a bar thread for pre/post event (though it'll need a bartender, if anyone wants to volunteer). Feel free to ping me if you have any questions and have a good time!]

[And now he's blushing]

D-d-dating game?!

[Is his boss trying to tell him something? Or is this just to fill a seat? Ahhhh]

Uh, um... right... What's your favorite music?

[She nods, gesturing to the tables]

People sit at the tables for a few minutes and talk, then they change partners. It is called speed dating.

[Well, at least he seems a little more willing, though still a little worries]

I enjoy all kinds of music. Although orchestral and jazz always appealed to me and are...timeless I suppose.

What about you?

I like... Japanese music?

[That technically covers everything from classical Japanese to JPop, right? Saying it that way?]
