Villain Party!

The Villain Party Meme
Guess what? The Villains' Annual Convention is in town. It's a time for villains of all walks of life to meet, compare evil schemes,
Fortunately, there's a restaurant very close to the convention center: the White Top.
If You're A Villain:
Come in, sit down, converse! Find a table, head to the bar, talk about today's panels or your latest foolproof scheme to conquer the world, whatever suits your fancy. This is your convention, after all. A word of warning, though: the manager of this restaurant has hired some additional security. Get too rowdy and you might find yourself in a fight.
If You're A Hero, A Neutral, Or Just Not Villainous:
You can still play too! I suggest you dabble a bit on the AU side and work in the restaurant - a busy night will always need servers, bartenders, hosts, and cooks. There's also added security, if that's more your speed. Otherwise, if you were ballsy enough to get a table in this end of town during the Villains' Con...good luck? Or you may simply have been unfortunate enough to wander into the wrong neighborhood. Just take the fighting outside.
Blank comments will be deleted. Please give your fellow players something to work with.
Now, get in there and have fun!

Lt. Helga Sinclair - Atlantis: The Lost Empire
She has a whiskey on the rocks and has a seat at a table. The liquor is warm going down, and the ice cools her throat after it.
Helga looks casual enough, dressed for an expedition, not a party. But she doesn't really care. After all, who does she need to impress here?]
Restaurant Staff and Security thread
I do want to warn everypony that this weekend will likely be a difficult one. Those of you who were here last year remember it, and I would imagine it will be much the same this year. Your best course of action is to be polite, helpful, and quick. If things go over your head, come find me, and if they get...rough, we do have extra security this weekend. Security, please raise your hands - there we go. Come find any one of these ladies or gentlemen to help...escort your guest out, as it were.
And if we do manage to get through this somewhat intact, we'll be having a party of our own.
Are there any questions before I open the doors?

Not speaking to anyone in particular, he sighs and swishes his tail (possibly smacking someone else's table over in the process).]

An unfortunate relapse on their part.

The later in life those delicate skills — how to conduct oneself, how to be social — are acquired, the less chance there is of them ever being effortless. Aspiring latecomers run a constant risk of exposing themselves as outsiders. It's almost inevitable that they'll break one of a hundred unwritten rules. And the higher the society, the easier it is to fall from fashion, attention, and grace.
Wealth and nobility from birth, on the other hand: that leaves an imprint. The unwritten rules seep in quite organically, and settle somewhere in the bones. Those people, whether they're entirely aware of it or not, carry themselves differently until the day they die. Their circumstances could be anything, in the end — they could be destitute, alone and abandoned — but their worth is unassailable. There's no humiliation, no agony, no debasing act that can utterly expunge their birthright and their earliest life's lessons.
Bellatrix should know. She's taken every step — absolutely every step within the acceptable bounds of her station — to liberate herself. She was born volatile, a bad fit for the social pressures restricting her behavior. She's always wanted more and less, and everything and nothing. And now she doesn't even pretend to behave herself.
She slides one hand across the back of Selina's chair, ostensibly to draw the young woman's attention. She's unnecessarily close for a stranger, but then again, this isn't a convention for normal well-adjusted people. Besides that, she's visibly past eccentric; eccentric was a few station stops ago on the Transcontinental Insanity Express.]
You have the loveliest hair. I'm tempted to cut it off and take it with me when I go.
[That's a harmless compliment. Perish the thought of a threat. She's very unsubtle with threats.]

Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik | Sonic the Hedgehog
...he just doesn't show it very well, mostly because he's busy being a grump thanks to his most recent defeat at the hands of that spiky blue asshole. If you want to speak with him, he'll be sitting at a table, drowning his sorrows in comfort food. Also shouting for more food; that's definitely a thing that's happening.]

[Pinkie heads off one of the regular waiters, sending him away with his plate full of food. She's got something better. Trotting up to the table, she whips out what looks like a mini cannon, sets it on the table, and pulls the cord.]
CAKE CANNONNNNNNNN!!!! [And then there was a large cake - thankfully not in his face this time. That's comfort food, right?]
GLaDOS | Portal 2
Okay, maybe a few would show up.
Either way, Gladdy can be found around the restaurant, occasionally chatting up other villains, while at other times she'll be talking on her headset, staying in constant contact with Apeture. God knows that place would blow up without her...]

He simply knew what he wanted. And what he wanted at the moment was a drink.
Xanatos started to make his way towards the bar, occasionally making small chit-chat with whoever he passed. After all, there wasn't any harm in being social.]
My goodness, Xanatos? I couldn't resist!
"Ah, Sir, is there anything I can do for you?" His English was slightly accented, as even a doll like him could not quite shed his Japanese heritage in a matter of less than five years, but it was clear as a bell.

Table for one.
[Because, you know, there can be only one.]

It presented several panels earlier today, though the vast majority of the attendees probably won't remember anything about them other than static and shadows. Still, it thinks they went very well. This whole convention has. It isn't often it stays in one place this long without driving everyone around to madness and murder, and decent cups of tea are so very hard to find in the forest.]

So a college freshman in some gaudy catsuit thing is sipping a mooonglove cocktail at the bar, looking slyly about. She doesn't believe in the 'don't shit where you eat' rule of VillainCon. She's the kind that has a greater cause, albeit a nihilistic one.

She recoils in one sharp movement, like the crack of a whip, having managed to startle herself. This sort of reaction is to be expected from her, given that she's profoundly paranoid and possessed of exceptional reflexes.
Only then does she direct her attention to Captain Hook himself, to see if he's at all bothered.
Pirate though he is, there's absolutely the suggestion of nobility about him. Taken without consideration of his other features, his bone structure calls to mind someone she knows well; someone for whom she has no personal fondness, but whose blood and breeding she cannot fault. He's rather dark, otherwise, which is a telling quality they both share with many of their fellow attendees.
If she were standing on protocol, the social gatherings at this event would be problematic for her. He would have to introduce himself first, or else she would have to be introduced to him by a third party. She's not standing on protocol, mind, but there's nothing at present to say.
Her haughty expression offers no apology.]
